Limited Cornerstone memberships are available for those wishing to become founding members of the Association of Volunteer Resources Management (AVRM).
You are invited to become a Cornerstone member of the AVRM. Cornerstone memberships will be limited to the first 100 individuals who register. The funds generated by the Cornerstone members will be utilized to establish the organization’s functional operations, membership materials and initial operating costs. When membership opens in September, the standard membership rate will be $60 per year.
In appreciation for your Cornerstone membership, you will receive a 1-year membership to AVRM, a certificate of Cornerstone membership status and recognition in AVRM materials as a Cornerstone founding member.
In every way, as a Cornerstone member, you assure that all professionals in the field of volunteer resources management will have a viable, relevant national association to provide professional development, trainings and resources. This opportunity will provide you with a place in AVRM history.
AVRM’s goal is provide training and resources support to every volunteer resources manager in the United States. This will be achieved by leveraging available technology, conferences and the provision of best practices materials. Currently, AVRM has a Registry for organizations that work with volunteer resources managers, a newsletter called Did You Know? (6,650 subscribers) and a conference planned for October 3-5, 2007 in Dallas, Texas (250 anticipated participants). These activities will further the mission of service and support to volunteer resources managers.
